Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in the year 2013.
